| If you live in Palm Springs, San Diego, and even Santa Barbara and went to have a two day road trip with no more than 2 hours of driving time we have just the perfect road trip for you. Fill up your gas tank and head over to Beverly Hills. Famous for it's tall palm trees and celebrity sightings you are bound to find just about everything you could want on your perfect road trip. If you leave in the morning you should be arriving mid morning, perfect time to check in to one of the many cozy and glamorous hotels in Beverly Hills. My personal favorite Luxe Hotel has a variety of accommodations for all kinds of visitors and is conveniently located in the heart of Beverly Hills. Check in and enjoy a drink at their Lounge area in the main lobby. Get settled in to your room and enjoy the views of Rodeo Drive. Ready to enjoy the beautiful weather of southern California. Take a walk on Rodeo Drive and enjoy the beautiful displays of clothing, jewelry and home accents pieces. Grab lunch at one of their many street cafes and even visit the Center for Media right in the heart of Beverly Hills. Make your way back to your hotel and get ready for a one of a kind dinner at The Beverly Wilshire hotel. They have two main restaurants CUT and The BLVD. Take your pick; you will be pleased with either one. I do recommend you call ahead and make a reservation before arriving. After dinner rest up since tomorrow your road trip will lead you into Santa Monica. Day two of your road trip will include the beach, shopping, and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Head over to Santa Monica, which is just an eight-mile drive from Beverly Hills. I recommend you enjoy breakfast and one of the many street cafes located on the promenade. After breakfast head over to the Pier where you will find a variety of fun activities such as volleyball, the many rides available at the pier and even an aquarium. Explore all the fun outdoor activities Santa Monica has to offer. If you feel up for it I recommend you rent a bike and take a ride up and down the beach. One of the most relaxing activities you will enjoy. Before making your way back to your home enjoy dinner at the Lobster. The views will delight you and the food will have you coming back to visit every time you are in the Beverly Hills/Santa Monica Area. |
